Iran says it will “sensitively and vigilantly” observe the red lines during the nuclear negotiations with the six major world powers.

In a Tuesday meeting with head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Ezzatollah Zarghami, and his deputies, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif pointed to ongoing regional and international incidents as well as Iran’s relations and cooperation with other countries.
“Based on the NPT [Non-Proliferation Treaty], Iran’s right to possess peaceful nuclear energy program is undeniable,” the top Iranian nuclear negotiator said.
In line with Iran’s new approach to expand constructive interaction with different countries and preliminary outcomes of nuclear talks, a new atmosphere has been created for cooperation and enhanced foreign relations, he added.

Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council – Russia, China, France, Britain and the US -- plus Germany inked an interim deal on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 24, 2013. The Geneva deal took effect on January 20.

Iran and the Sextet of world powers wrapped up their latest round of nuclear negotiations in Vienna, Austria, on February 20 and are set to meet again in the Austrian city on March 17 to continue their talks.

The two sides’ negotiations are aimed at reaching a final agreement to fully resolve the decade-old dispute over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program.
