Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to attend a Majlis session to answer questions by 99 lawmakers.
The National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Majlis has invited Zarif to respond to the legislators’ questions by the legislators on Sunday.
According to earlier reports, the lawmakers signed a letter to question Zarif over his positions vis-a-vis the Holocaust and the Israeli regime.
The legislators pointed to Zarif’s interview with a German TV channel in early February in which he slammed the Holocaust as a “a horrifying tragedy” that “should never occur again.”
The lawmakers also called Zarif’s remarks about Palestinians’ right to recognize Israel, as “passive.”
