Iranian short film to go on screen at US film festival

Iranian short narrative Three Minutes Screen Play has been selected to contend for awards at the 2014 edition of Post Alley (shorts) Film Festival (PAFF) in Seattle.
Directed by Narges Kharghani, the film is scheduled to represent Iranian cinema at the competition section of the festival on February 18, 2014.

The film narrates the story of a young screenwriter Council whose script is not approved and he decides to put it in the trash bin.

Three minutes screen play has been displayed in several international festivals such as the festival of Big little Comedy in the United States, KIN film festival in Armenia and Iranian film festival in Canada.

Born in 1982 in Ahwaz, Kharghani has made several short screen productions.

PAFF celebrates strong creative female voices from around the block and around the globe.

Meanwhile, three animated movies took part in the 2014 Seattle Children’s International Film Festival.

The Fox Who Followed the Sound by Fatemeh Goudarzi andMammy Crow and the Fox by Mohammad Ali Soleimanzadeh and The Kind Moon by Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi were screened in different categories of Children's Film Festival Seattle held from January 23 to February 8.
