Commander: Police ceaselessly following up fate of abducted border guards

Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA – Police Chief Brigadier General Esmaeel Ahmadi Moqaddam said Police is ceaselessly following up the fate of the five Iranian border guards recently abducted in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.

Making the remark here Monday morning while talking to reporters on the sideline of a local gathering, he said the relevant bodies are making great efforts to follow up the case.


He said Pakistan is responsible for the abduction of the Iranian soldiers since they were kidnapped in the Pakistani soil.

Hailing Pakistan-Iran cooperation in spotting and arresting terrorist elements in the past, he said the country should bar activities of terrorist organizations within its territory.
