Zarif: Tehran-Riyadh friendly ties benefit entire region

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reiterated that Iran-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations benefit the two countries and the entire region.
"Good relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia as two important and influential countries are in favor of the two countries, region, Islamic world and the entire world. We should move forward with a realistic view," he said in a meeting with new Saudi ambassador to Iran Abdolrahma Bin Gharman al-Shahri here in Tehran.

He also said Iran attaches great importance to widening cooperation with neighboring and Muslim states, especially Saudi Arabia, and described Tehran-Riyadh bilateral ties 'good'.

The Saudi official also highlighted will of his country's officials for constructive approach and interaction with Iran and expressed the hope that bilateral ties between the two states would be matured further.
