Nasim–Iran’s envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi said the Islamic Republic of Iran would steadfastly decline such calls from the IAEA.
Speaking with Nasim, Najafi posited that Iran’s interim nuclear agreement with the West is being implemented well by the two sides and the results of its ongoing steps will be announced in the coming days.

He further denied a report by the AP on the IAEA’s new demands regarding Iran’s nuclear program, and said such demands would be declined as soon as they were announced.

“The agency has not issued such demands to Iran and the negotiations are going on well and their results will be announced by the end of the day,” he added.

The Associated Press has said that the IAEA team who probed Iran’s nuclear facilities carried a list of alleged weapons-related experiments that it would present to the Iranian negotiating team for discussions on February 18. Among them, were:

— indications that Iran has conducted high explosives testing and detonator development to set off a nuclear charge, as well as computer modeling of a core of a nuclear warhead.

— suspected preparatory work for a nuclear weapons test, and development of a nuclear payload for Iran’s Shahab 3 intermediate range missile — a weapon that can reach Israel.

—information that Iran went further underground to continue work on nuclear weapons development past 2003, the year that U.S. intelligence agencies believe such activity ceased.
