8 Feb 2014 - 14:44

Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – New ambassadors of Thailand and Oman Adisorndej Sukhasvasti and Ahmed bin Al Barwani, respectively, in a meeting on Saturday submitted their credentials to the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

During his separate meetings with the envoys, the Iranian President welcomed expansion of all-out ties with Thailand and Oman.

Referring to extremism and terrorism as two ominous phenomena currently facing the regional nations, President Rouhani said Tehran-Muscat relations can help ensure regional security.

Further expansion of Iran-Oman cooperation will be effective in bringing more regional stability, the President noted.
