TEHRAN, Feb. 8 (MNA) – Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force has commemorated the day Air Force personnel had renewed their allegiance to Imam Khomeini 35 years ago.
The founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA), arrived in the country on February 1st and different groups of Iranian officials joined Imam including the Air Force personnel.

Imam Khomeini greeted the Air Force personnel, calling them Imam Mahdi’s soldiers. A photo of the Army Air Force officials showing allegiance to Imam had been publicized widely the following day and brought the Bakhtiar government to the edge of the cliff, flaming the Revolution more and more.
