Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – An earthquake measuring 3.5 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale jolted suburbs of Shahmirzad in Semnan province on Thursday morning.
According to a report, released by the seismography center of Tehran University?s Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 01:31:32 hours local time (22:01 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 35.94 degrees latitude and 53.23 degrees longitude and in depth of 8 kilometers underground.
There is no immediate report on possible casualty or damage.
