Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA – An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rocked the vicinity of Chelgard in Charmahal and Bakhtiari province early Wednesday morning.
According to seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 03:17 hours local time (2347 GMT Tuesday).
The quake was epicentered in an area located at 32.46 degrees latitude and 49.92 degrees longitude.
There are no reports of any possible damage or casualty caused by the quake.
