Sri Lanka and Iran have focused attention to enhance bilateral relations.
At a meeting held with Sri Lankan ambassador in Iran Mohamed Razi, chairman of the Iranian foreign policy commission Aladin Barujerdi said Iran is willing to further enhance cooperation with Sri Lanka.

He said that possible sectors should be identified to enhance cooperation. He added that Iran consideredSri Lanka as an important partner in their foreign policy. The Sri Lankan ambassador informed the Iranian officials on the post war development in Sri Lanka.
