Tehran, Jan 22, IRNA – Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar-Zangeneh will hold talks with senior officials from international oil companies to persuade them to invest in Iran’s oil and gas sectors.
The oil minister who is accompanying President Hassan Rouhani in a visit to Davos, Switzerland to attend the 44th World Economic Forum, said that since the formation of new Iranian government, the Oil Ministry has focused its attention on post-sanctions era and Iran’s recent deal with the P5+1 was reached in this line.
Zangeneh expressed hope that the deal would pave the way for fulfillment of Iran’s rights, particularly in the field of oil and gas.
Iran has planned to gain a proper status in world market, the minister said, adding, world big oil companies could have a share in this regard.
