TEHRAN (FNA)- Some 17 foreign teams plan to travel to Iran to partake in the 24th International Fajr Badminton Competitions scheduled for February 13-16.


National badminton teams from Croatia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Portugal, Canada, the US, France, Mexico, Sweden, Slovenia, Poland, Indonesia, India, Iraq, Azerbaijan Republic and Afghanistan have so far expressed readiness to participate the upcoming event.

The teams intended to participate in the competitions have to apply with Fajr sports contests organizers no later than January 21.

Ten-Day Dawn (Fajr) celebrations mark anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution 1979.
