TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian Interior Minister Major General Mohammad al-Shaar said the efforts of the internal security forces, side by side with the Syrian army in confronting terrorists ''have yielded tangible results on the ground and accentuated the signs of inevitable victory over the armed terrorist groups.''


Attending a graduation ceremony for internal security and law-enforcement forces on Monday, the minister said the lessons and exercises that the graduates have learned mark a quantum leap in the work and missions of the internal security and law enforcement forces.

Al-Shaar said that terrorists who bear takfiri thoughts have ''sold themselves to the enemy'' to serve Israel's interests in execution of western and regional intelligence agencies whose role has been manifested through ''operation rooms'' to aid and abet terrorists in their terrorist attacks.

Syria's victory over the bearers of takfiri thoughts and their backers is inevitable, the minister affirmed.
