TEHRAN (FNA)- An Iranian lawmaker praised the good performance of the country's negotiating team in talks with the world powers over Tehran's nuclear program, and said Iran has gained good achievements in the nuclear deal it signed with the sextet in Geneva on Sunday.


“The bravery and courage of the Iranian delegation in Geneva negotiations put on display at the international scene the strength of the Iranian diplomacy,” Majid Mansouri said.

“With this strong diplomacy we will gain good achievements in defense of our country’s national interests,” he emphasized, the Islamic republic news agency reported.

“Among the great achievements of these talks there is confirmation of Iran’s right by the big world powers to have a peaceful nuclear energy,” he pointed out.

Iran and the G5+1(the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) reached an agreement in Geneva on Sunday after days of intensive negotiations.
