Political leader welcomes Iran, 5+1 nuclear deal

Islamabad, Nov 25, IRNA – A Pakistani political leader on Monday welcomed Iran- 5+1 nuclear deal adding that the historic agreement was possible because of the steadfastness of the Islamic Republic.
Talking to IRNA, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Agha Murtaza Poya said that the deal has proved that Iran is a peace loving nation and has no intention of developing nuclear weapons.


“I salute to the courage of Iran”, he said.

Poya said that Iran has never pursued the path of aggression, adding that steadfastness of Iran has forced the US and its allies to change their approach towards Iran.

The politician went on to say that the deal is an important step in solving decade long dispute between Iran and western powers.

He said that telephone call by US President Barack Obama to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani was the first step in removing the differences between Iran and the US.

The political leader said that Iran’s nuclear deal has further isolated the Zionist regime. “The Zionist regime is an illegitimate state.?

Poya said that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s decree against development of nuclear weapons had left no justification for West to doubt about peaceful nature of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

He said that the deal would also have a positive impact on Iran-Pakistan relations. “We are very happy over the deal as Iran is a brotherly country to us,” added the politician.
