Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has pledged to make all-out efforts to further bolster Tehran-Beirut relations.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no effort to boost ties with the Lebanese Republic in line with the mutual interests of both nations,” Rouhani said in a message to his Lebanese counterpart Michel Suleiman on Saturday.

The Iranian president also offered his felicitations to the Lebanese government and nation on the occasion of Lebanon’s Independence Day (November 22).

He expressed confidence that Lebanon will become a more stable, secure and developed country through the prudence of Lebanese authorities and political groups.
