Iran to partake in Spain’s International Tourism Trade Fair

23 Nov 2013 - 10:08

Iran is planning to participate in the 34th edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, in Spain to exchange the related achievements to this industry.
Iran’s Touring and Automobile Club is slated to organize the participation of the country’s different tourism companies and represent their potentials in the industry at the Iranian pavilion in the exhibition.

A number of Iranian travel agencies will introduce natural, historical and cultural attractions of the metropolis in catalogues, brochures, compact discs, maps and commercial products.

Iran has taken part in several international tourism fairs such as Caucasian international tourism fair in Georgia in 2011 and the 2012 Borsa International Tourism Exchange (BIT) in Italy.

Organized by IFEMA, the 34th edition of this trade fair is set to be held from January 22 through 26, 2014 at FERIA DE MADRID.

Visitors can also get familiar with traditions of different countries and watch folkloric performances in new interactive and cultural spaces at the event.

FITUR is progressing hand in hand with the tourist industry, implementing an entire series of tools that enable the show to promote innovation and sustainability, according to its website.
