Iran hopes talks with 5+1 would help lift sanctions

19 Nov 2013 - 13:58

Tehran, Nov 19, IRNA – Iran hopes that the next round of talks with the Group 5+1 would lead to the removal of sanctions, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters at her weekly press conference, she also expressed hope that the next round of talks which is to begin in Geneva on November 20, “would have effective and useful outcomes now that Tehran has entered serious talks based on good-will and firm determination”.

She further hoped that all concerns of the other side would be removed and rights of the Iranian nation be recognized during the upcoming talks.

Afkham said, “Making speculations about the highly complicated and sensitive talks is not right. We examine the process of talks realistically though we stepped on this path with optimism and realism.”
