Kabul, Nov 15, IRNA – Afghan Vice-President of Mohammad Karim Khalili said on Friday that relations with Iran is of so much importance for Afghanistan and Kabul is willing to develop ties with Tehran.
Speaking to Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour in Kabul, Khalili called for expansion of Tehran-Kabul economic and political ties serving mutual interests.
Rahimpour, who is on a two-day visit to Kabul to meet and talk with Afghan officials on ways to expand cooperation, said for his part that Iran is ready to contribute to peace and stability of Afghanistan.
