Former president Khatami hopes nuclear talks will serve Iranian interests

15 Nov 2013 - 13:54

Tehran, Nov 15, IRNA – Former President Mohammad Khatami on Friday hoped that outcome of nuclear talks with the western governments will serve Iranian interests.
Asked about his initiatives to encourage the western governments to understand that war and hostility will not serve the human community, Khatami told reporters that his Non-Governmental Organization is lobbying for international peace and security.

He regretted that permanent members of the United Nations Security Council initiated war and bloodshed in the past decade instead of helping international peace and security.
