Split among Western countries benefits Iran: Secretary of Expediency Council

11 Nov 2013 - 19:55

Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA – Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said on Monday that Group 5+1 couldn’t hide the division among the members, adding that the split will benefit Iran.
During Geneva talks between Tehran and the six major countries over Iran’s nuclear program, French government showed that it represents the Zionist regime and the US extremists, Rezaei said.

Such approach is not something new and was predictable, he added.

The opposition has been existing among G5+1 member states and Iranian negotiating team needs to find a way to deal with.

“We have to insist on our logical and principled stance to achieve success,” Rezaei said.

He made it clear that the Iranian negotiating team has never crossed the country’s red lines.
