Tunisia looks to increase economic ties with Iran

Increasing bilateral and economic ties between Iran and Tunisia,This was main topic on the agenda of Tunisia’s Minister of Trade and Handicrafts as the Tunisian delegation is visiting Iran.
Tuesday Minister Abdelwaheb Matar along other Tunisian officials met Iran’s Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Intl. Affairs, Mehdi Miraboutalebi. They held a press conference at Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture with the aim of promoting economic ties between both countries. Minister Matar explained how Iran can help Tunisia have strong economic growth in 2014. 
Tunisia is looking to increase ties in several business fields such as oil and petroleum, automobile, financial services & banking, agriculture, phosphate and pharmaceutical and food industries. Iran’s Chamber of Commerce VP for Intl. Affairs talked about manufacturing Iranian automobiles in Tunisia.

The chairman of Tunisia’s Chamber of Commerce discussed how influential Iran can be in promoting in growth and development in his country.

Tunisia is looking to increase trade to over 1 billion dollars with Iran within the next three years.
