23 Oct 2013 - 9:20

TEHRAN, Oct. 22 (MNA) – A University of Tehran professor has said Wendy Sherman’s remarks on Iranians are scientifically unfounded.
Speaking in the sidelines of the ceremony for UN commemoration in Tehran, Sadeq Zibakalam, professor of political science said that “such remarks are mere racism.”

Wendy Sherman had told the US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee that “we know deception is part of the [Iranian] DNA.”

Zibakalam told the press that in the case that she articulated such remarks, her remarks are scientifically unfounded and pure racism. “If we believe that popular culture as having imbedded with deception, our view is much like that by white supremacists of blacks in South Africa and the US, whom the supremacists believed as ‘semi-human’,” he added, and that “such remarks spoken by whomever are unacceptable.”
