TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Araqchi said the new Iranian government's approach can leads to formation of new chapter in ties with Saudi Arabia.
"The political approach of Mr. Rouhani and Zarif is clear which could lead to new relations with countries such as Saudi Arabia," Araqchi told ISNA.

He also added Iran should wait for the response of the other side and its willingness for engagement and interaction with the country.

Araqchi also rejected reports that the Iranian ambassador to Iraq has presented a report to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki over the PM's assassination and that Iran held consultation for a successor to al-Maliki.

"These are all media sear campaign that we repeatedly face unfortunately and any of which is true," he added.
