Hossein Vafaei of Iran scored a comfortable win in the qualifying round of the German Masters on Thursday to book a place in the final stages in Berlin next month.

According to The Iran Project,Vafaei top scored with 72 in a 5-0 whitewash of Mink Nutcharut, while former World Champion Graeme Dott came from 3-2 down to beat Brazil’s Victor Sarkis 5-3.

Ryan Day top scored with 91 in a 5-3 win over Stan Moody, while Scottish Open semi-finalist Zhou Yuelong came from 2-0 down to edge out Jak Jones 5-4 with a top break of 104.
