International Court of Arbitration has sentenced a French gas company to pay 1.5 million dollars to Iran, Government Spokesman wrote in a tweet on Thursday.

Ali Bahadori Jahromi said that the ICA rejected the French company’s 37-million-dollar claim on Iran, ordering it to pay 1.5 million dollars to Iran.

He added that an Iranian attorney’s winning the case suggested the necessity of strengthening the role of Iran’s legal community in international authorities to realize the Iranian nation’s rights.
