Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi visited Imam Reza (AS) Holy Shrine in the city of Mashad, Razavi Khorasan Province, northeastern Iran, on Monday.

Upon his arrival, Iraqi PM and the delegation were officially welcomed by Razavi Khorasan governor general.

Earlier on Sunday in Tehran, al-Kadhimi visited Iranian senior officials and held joint press conference and bilateral meeting with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

After saying his prayers in Imam Reza (AS) Holy Shrine, Iraqi Prime Minister left Mashad for Baghdad.
