In a phone talk with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Head of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation hailed Iran for defending the Afghan people and called on Iran to send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.

Abdulalh Abdulalh made the remarks in a phone call on Sunday night with Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

He Abdullah has congratulated Iran’s Foreign Minister on his appointment as the Islamic Republic’s top diplomat.

Referring to the dire situation in Afghanistan, Abdulalh urged Iran to dispatch its humanitarian assistance to the country.  

The two sides agreed on the need to fight the heinous phenomenon of terrorism.
