Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Saturday appreciated Iran’s support for the Palestinian nation and resistance groups.

Haniyeh had phoned Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian to congratulate him on being appointed to the post and winning the Parliament’s vote of confidence.

The Iranian foreign minister, for his part, hailed the resistance of the Palestinian people against the occupation of the Zionist regime.
