Iranian Embassy in Iraq issued a statement condemning the recent terrorist explosion in Sadr City and expressed sympathy with the Iraqi people and the Iraqi Government over the incident.






The Iranian Embassy in Baghdad has also expressed condolences to the families of those killed and those wounded in this terrorist crime.

The statement underlined the importance of fighting terrorism and regional cooperation in this regard.

Prior to this, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned the terrorist act in the densely populated Sadr City, in Iraq, and said that Iran is ready to cooperate with Iraq in combating terrorism.
