Pakistan MYC asks govt to slam Egypt coup

ISLAMABAD: The Milli Yakjehti Council Pakistan has demanded of the government to raise voice against military coup in Egypt and strongly condemn suspension of constitution and removal of a democratic president in the Muslim country.
Addressing a press conference here, the Council leaders said the only solution to

the crisis in Egypt was restoration of constitution and democratically elected president Morsi.They praised leadership of Iran and Turkey and the African Union for denouncing military coup in Egypt and removal of the elected president.

“We also condemn the leadership of Muslim countries who welcomed military

coup in Egypt,” the leaders said.Those addressed the press conference included Asif Luqman Qazi, Amin Shaheedi, Pir Abdul Raheem, Saqib Akbar, Mian Muhammad Aslam and Abid Aurakzai.They said that it was responsibility of the world community to condemn military coup in Egypt and openly support the elected president in Egypt.
