Iranian short film to compete at London film festival

Iranian director Babak Habibifar’s short production has been selected to compete at the 2013 Walthamstow International Film Festival in the UK.
Habibifar’s three-minute creation After 15 Years is slated to be screened along with other participated films in the festival that will be held in Britain capital London.

The film, as Iran’s only representative at the festival, will compete with two other works participated from the Netherlands and Spain in the Drama section of the event.

The movie is also known with its former title Crossword in some countries. The film was also showcased at Strawberry Shorts Film Festival in the British city of Cambridge in May, 2013.

The festival is held in five sections including drama, animation, documentary, experimental and first film. Only three films to vie in each section.

The participated films were required to be less than four minutes and made after January 1st 2012.

The Fourth Walthamstow International Film Festival is scheduled to take place from July 6 to 8, 2013.
