IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi and Iraqi President Barham Salih in a meeting on Saturday discussed regional developments as well as the ways for de-escalating tensions.

They stressed the need for reliance on constructive dialogue for de-escalating regional tensions and reinforce stability in it.

The meeting took place concurrent with the rising threats and provocative measures of the US officials in the recent weeks against the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as Washington and certain Arab states’ hype.
