S. Korea seeking to strengthen all-out ties with Iran

IRNA - Head of Office of Iran’s Foreign Ministry in the north and northeast of the country announced the visit of South Korean ambassador to Mashad to confer with Khorasan Razavi’s officials.

Gholam Abbas Arbab Khales, on Sunday added that South Korean Ambassador Ryu Jeong-Hyun has arrived in Mashhad on Saturday for a three-day trip and has met with mayor of Mashad.

Arbab Khales highlighted the purpose of the visit of Ambassador of South Korea to Mashhad is to get acquainted with the capacities of Khorasan Razavi province in various fields of economy, culture, sport, university, agriculture, transit and tourism.

'So far, in the meetings of the South Korean ambassador in Mashad, the province officials announced their readiness to work with the country in the field of tourism because Mashad and Khorasan Razavi have good capacities to attract South Korean tourists.

The Iranian official noted that in the transit area, considering the “One Belt, One Road” project to which the South Korean is one of the members of the belt, two sides conferred on the mechanism for export of South Korean goods from this route to Europe, Caucasus and South Asia.
