President.ir - Phases 13, 22, 23, 24 of South Pars Gas Field officially started operation on Saturday on Dr Rouhani’s order.

At the ceremony that was held during President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Bushehr Province, the phases officially started operation in Kangan County.

Dr Rouhani was also briefed by the engineers and project managers on different parts of the project and gas refining complex.

He said, “Congratulating the great Iranian nation, I now pronounce the opening of Phase 13, which is equal to two phases”.

With the opening of the new phases, Iran now leads in extracting gas from joint fields for the first time.
