SHANA -- The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said the copany was planning to enhace Iran’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports in the news Iranian calendar year, which starts on March 21.

According to the NIGC, Hassan Montazer Torbati said one of the most important plans of the next year for the National Iranian Gas Company is paying special heed to the issue of increasing Iran’s sales of LPG in the global market.

The official outlined NIGC’s plans for the new calendar year of 1398, saying, “LPG is currently being produced at a significant level at the National Iranian Gas Company, which is able to provide large volumes to the world market.”

He added smart monitoring and metering of gas consumption would be another important concern for NIGC in the new year, adding the company has taken steps in this regard.
