Iran, Russia stress nonconstructive US role in Syria

MNA – In a meeting held on Friday between Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Mehdi Sanaei and Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister and President’s Special Envoy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Mikhail Bogdanov, the two sides placed special emphasis on nonconstructive role of the United States in normalizing relations between Arab countries and Syria.

In this meeting, Sanaei and Bogdanov exchanged views on recent developments in the Middle East including Syria and Iraq as well as Russia’s initiative in the field of collective security in the Persian Gulf.

The two sides once again referred to the nonconstructive role of the United States in normalizing relations between Arab countries and Syria.
