French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius stated he is looking forward to working with elected Iranian president Hassan Rohani, especially on nuclear issues and the situation in Syria.
A statement released by the French Foreign Ministry read that "France welcomes the Iranian people's desire for democracy."
