IRNA – Iran’s Majlis (parliament) speaker says that Hormozgan Province is in the center of Iran’s future strategic oientations due to its importance.

The province can support the country by hosting major industries and investments, said Ali Larijani to reporters upon arriving at Bandar Abbas on Tuesday evening.

Referring to the investment capacities of Hormozgan Province and Makran beach, he added that promoting Makran beach is a strategic approach in Iran’s 6th Development Plan.

He said that meeting provincial trade officials to discuss the economic capacities and issues and participating in the opening ceremony of some developmental projects are among his itinerary.

Larijani is visiting Hormozgan to take part in the administrative councils of the province’s capital Bandar Abbas and eastern city of Jask and also inaugurate some projects.
