Iran opens 5 employment offices abroad

2 Dec 2018 - 16:08

Tasnim – An Iranian official said the Labor Ministry has opened job offices in five foreign countries to send job applicants abroad and support them in their career.

In an interview with Tasnim, Mohammad Akbarbnia said job offices in Australia, Canada, Oman, Turkey and Denmark have been licensed by the Iranian Ministry of Cooperative, Labor and Social Welfare to attract and support Iranian skilled workforce.

The offices have been set up after coordination with the Foreign Ministry and the Iranian embassies in those countries, he added.

Iranian employees living abroad can get assistance from the job offices to address their legal problems, he noted, saying those offices are also tasked with searching job opportunities available in the foreign countries in order to help Iranian job seekers.

In June, officials from Iran’s Technical and Vocational Training Organization and Germany’s University of Applied Sciences (FHM) agreed on a program on training Iranian technicians seeking jobs in Germany.

Based on the plan, Iranian vocational graduates with official certificates should pass a test of German language in Iran to be qualified for another training course that will help them find employed in Germany.
