Internationally acclaimed traditional Iranian musician and vocalist Mohammad Motamedi has been invited to the 2013 Beiteddine Art Festival in Lebanon.
The award winning musician moatamedi is slated to perform great concert titled On the Way of Marco Polo at the opening ceremony of the festival on June 21, 2013.

Motamedi’s music program will be held in two sections of orchestral and traditional at the event.

The first section will be orchestral that is scheduled to be a joint work of Iranian and Lebanese vocalists and musicians.

Lebanon’s great orchestra and Iranian musician Fardin Khalatbari will accompany Motamedi at the section. A selection of Arabic and Persian poems of the ancient Iranian poet Mowlavi will be offered at this part of the program.

At the second section of Motamedi’s concert, traditional Iranian music is programmed to be performed.

Born in 1978, Motamedi performed several concerts in Iran and some other countries that were warmly received.

He garnered France Musique World Music Award at the 2013 Babel Med Music festival.

As the winner of the section, Motamedi was granted to record a CD with ‘Radio France Ocora Records’ the following year.

He also held Extemporization concert in theatre of Paris, concert in historical Palace of Versailles and concert in Music Conservator Rome-Italy.

Beiteddine Music Festival is one of the most important festivals in the Middle East that attracts many leading artists from around the world every year.

The annual summer festival takes place in Beiteddine Palace in the Lebanese small city of Beiteddine.

Established in 1984 with local artistic performances, the festival presents concerts or performances related to classical music, dance, theatre, opera, jazz, and modern world music.
