IRNA – Majlis (Iranian Parliament) presiding board announced that proposed nominees for four ministries will show up in legislature next Saturday to win vote of confidence to take helm of the ministries.


Majlis is to hold an open session next Saturday to discuss qualifications of the proposed ministers by President Hassan Rouhani.

Rouhani has named Mohammad Eslami as the proposed minister of roads and urban development and Farhad Dejpasand as the proposed minister of economy.

Mohammad Shariatmadari and Reza Rahmani were introduced as the nominees for the ministries of cooperatives, labor and social welfare and industry, mine and trade respectively.

Rouhani has been under mounting pressure to reshuffle his Cabinet following the upsurge in economic difficulties unseen in recent history.
