president.ir - The Council of Ministers convened on Wednesday and approved allocating 90 billion rials of credit for repairing damages made by the recent floods in Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan and North Khorasan provinces.

At the session that was chaired by President Hassan Rouhani, 30 billion rials was allocated for reconstruction of flood-damaged buildings and infrastructure, consisting of 10 billion rials for each of Mazandaran and Gilan provinces, and 5 billion rials for each of Golestan and North Khorasan provinces.

In addition to these amounts, one billion rials was allocated from the funds of Plan and Budget Organisation to repair the damaged infrastructure in the provinces.

The government continued to discuss a number of parliamentary plans, and a number of other proposals from executive agencies were approved after the discussion.
