IRNA – Iran's Minister of Interior Abdol-Reza Rahmani-Fazli arrived in Baghdad Wednesday for border talks with his Iraqi counterpart.
He was welcomed by Iraqi Minister of Interior Qasim al-Araji and Iranian Ambassador Iraj Masjedi at Baghdad airport.
The two ministers are scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Arbaeen rituals at Iraqi Ministry of Interior.
Some military and security officials are accompanying the Iranian minister in the day-long visit.
Arbaeen a Muslim religious ritual is attended every year by some four million Iranian pilgrims.
Nearly two million Iraqis, including tourists and pilgrims, annually visit Iran.
