IRNA – Iran and Qatar cooperation in the field of ports is increasing, said the managing director of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran.


Touring Bushehr Negin Port Complex, Mohammad Rastad told IRNA on Monday that Iranian and Qatari port officials have excellent communications with each other, as they have reciprocated visits in a bid to enhance port cooperation.

Given its geographical location, Bushehr boasts of a situation that eases exports to Qatari ports, he said, hoping that the excellent capacity of Bushehr would be used optimally for export and transit of goods to Qatar.
