Iranian Bloggers Speak about Closure of the Strait of Hormuz & Assassination of Iranian Nuclear Scientist

26 May 2013 - 17:18

These days the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and assassination of the nuclear scientist are two top news on Iranian weblogs. Some Persian bloggers take the side of Iran in current tension and defend Iran’s right for closing the Strait of Hormuz in the event of military strike or tough sanctions.

Kheyzaran, a Persian blogger lives in Iran, in a post entitled “to close the Strait of Hormuz or not to close the Strait of Hormuz” announced from 30 years readiness of Iran. He added, Since we are ready to confront with any problem, this is not a problematic issue for us, but American General can't fall asleep at night because he is afraid of confronting with extremist boats, non-tracking torpedoes, and …..missiles (obvious part of our defense equipment) and another significant weapon we still haven't shown it but everybody knows that we have enough of it for  in closet rainy day.

This pro-government blogger stressed that closure of the Strait depends on government decision and national interest. He underlined, “we would close the Strait whenever we deem it advisable and the only thing you can do is checking our latest local news every day to see whether we close the Strait of Hormuz or not.

Terrorist attack against Iranian nuclear scientist is another proposed issue in Iranian pro-government weblogs. This assassination that Iranian government considered Western Intelligence agencies as the main perpetrators, have been made the Iranian blogger angry.

Mohammad Saleh Meftah, author of Azarbad weblog, the pro-government media activist that was the spokesman of a group who wanted to move Gaza and confront with Israel 2 years ago, in a post entitled, “let’s speak and justify the terror” indicated that West had never had human rights concerns, it has double standard in evaluating of terror and murderer. It believes that western man has superiority over others and tries to privilege modern racism.

He mentioned, “attack to world trade center  and America counterattack to Afghanistan,” America attack to Iraq under pretext of finding Mass Destruction Weapons” and “Condemnation of Iran’s possible involvement in the assassination of  the Saudi ambassador in America by the United Nations” ,as examples of misuse of human rights to cover terror and murder by themselves.

In the following, Meftah pointed to another Kamangir’s post (an anti-government blogger lives in Tornto) that in which,  he supported the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist, in Meftah’s opinion.

Arash Kamangir wrote in his weblog, “this terror wasn’t the result of two citizen’s personal hostility.” he condemned the assassination, though in Meftah’s opinion this condemnation wasn’t clear enough but a dramatic gesture.

Iranian nuclear assassination is still  top news in the Persian weblogs.
