Iran urges proper settlement of issues with Saudi Arabia

Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi says any misunderstandings between the Islamic Republic and Saudi Arabia should be resolved through proper channels and appropriate means.
In a farewell meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Iran Muhammed bin Abbas al-Kalaby on Sunday, Salehi stressed that mutual visits and talks between the officials of the two countries should continue in order to resolve bilateral issues.

In another farewell meeting, with Georgian Ambassador to Iran Giorgi Janjgava, Salehi lauded the good relations between the two countries.

Salehi said the presence of Iranians in Georgia and their investments in that country was a good opportunity to expand bilateral relations.

The top Iranian diplomat said Tehran and Tbilisi have great potential to boost their cooperation.

Iran has repeatedly stressed that it attaches particular significance to enhancing ties with neighboring countries based on mutual respect and good neighborly relations.
