Venezuelan would defend its borders with Iranian drones

TEHRAN, Jun. 1 (MNA) – Venezuelan president has said Venezuela would use drones in the border areas to combat drug trafficking.
According to Telesur TV, Nicolas Maduro announced in his press conference on Thursday, that in order to control boarders and to combat drug trafficking and the security of the country, [Venezuela] would use Iranian made drones.

Maduro will reveal new defense policies for Venezuela at this press conference. He said that “by applying this program, we want to show that we are interested in the advancement of technology, and to maintain peace and security and we will use technology to defend our
country.”

“We spare no effort to achieve security and comfort [for Venezuela], and we will support every aspect of this program,” he added.

He also pointed out that many of these aircraft would be placed on the border of Venezuela and other countries soon.
