IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif heading a politico-economic delegation arrived in Brazil on Tuesday.


Zarif was in Senegal on Monday morning on the first leg of his tour to four African and South American countries.

In a meeting with his Senegalese counterpart, Zarif described the issue of Palestine and the Zionist regime’s crimes as the major problems of the Islamic world, saying that solving Muslims’ problems is contingent upon the Islamic unity and dialogue in the Islamic world.

Scores of officials in economic, financial and knowledge-based fields from state and private sectors are accompanying Zarif during his trip.

After Brazil, the Iranian minister is scheduled to visit Uruguay and Namibia and to hold talks with political, economic and parliamentary officials of these two countries.
